Title: login with pseudonym as username in Webmail SME 7.0 Final
Post by: bojo@chambersz.com on November 27, 2006, 12:28:32 AM
Is it possible to login with pseudonym as username in Webmail?
I mean for name  in the login screen to enter one of the next ones:

firstname.lastname
firstname_lastname
firstname.lastname@domain.com
firstname_lastname@domain.com
useraccountname@domain.com

Now it is possible to use only accountname /wuthout any domain/. Webmail users ask me to logged in in the way shown above. Is it possible?
I use SME 7.0 Final. There is 2 domains Primary and virtual. In the old SME 6.0.1, they use, they had an ability to log in as useraccountname@domain.com.
Thanks in addvance!

No - but why do you want to? They are all equivalent - they all identify the same person.

Yes, I know! But…:)) ...
For the users with POP/SMTP e-mail client everything is OK! They really don’t need to type anything. But for the clients with Webmail there is a little inconvenience – they have the habit of doing login in the Webmail in this way. I prefer to facilitate them /me too – instead to explaining again and again…../
This is the reason to ask about addons, or something useful ! :))
