I've installed MLDonkey on my SME 7.0 via a contrib, that I can't find any longer (where are all the contribs gone?). But I would like to upgrade that to the newest version. Any ideas how to do that?
Thank you!

Moving this topic to the SME 7.x Contribs forum, it is more appropriate there. Thanks!

All the contribs and how to's are stored up in the Archived Wiki link which you can see top of the forum.

Stop mldonkey
service mldonkey stop
then pick up the latest static rpm from the mldonkey site (http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=156414)
and copy the mlnet file that you'll find in it in /usr/bin.
Finally restart mldonkey
service mldonkey start

These contribs? (http://azurlinux.com/files/e-smith/mldonkey/)
Anyway, as stated, just copy the new mlnet binary over the old.

Hi, I've installed mldonkey for SME 7.0 (the old 02/02/2006 contib) and I would like to update it but I can't find any apropriate version on the mldonkey site, should I download the source file and build it by myself ?
Thanks

Download this..
http://optusnet.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/mldonkey/mldonkey-2.8.2.static.i386-Linux_glibc-2.3.2.tar.bz2
Extract mlnet and copy it over your existing one.
