Title: Where's the documentation? How are updates obtained?

Hi guys,

I love this and I've been using it since 4.3, but I have never got the updates/rpm thing sorted.  Some time ago there was an unofficial script that could be used to grab a chunk of rpms and install them, but I can't find an equivalent now.

What I want to do is install mtx.  Of course, I can't compile it, so if I want it I'll need an rpm.  Which one is the best? rpmfind has so many hits for a search on gcc...

See now I don't really expect a PLF style repository, I just have the strong feeling that a good contribs repository and solid instructions exist somewhere, but I can't find it!!

Would someone please point me to the 'official' page for this information?
