Title: Dial-up modem won't dial

Using SME 7.0. Since this is a remote location with only dial-up internet access, we're using a dialup modem.  :wink:

However the console "Test your internet connection" seems to do nothing and when I set the server up as a proxy (squid confirms I made a connection), the modem is not dialed.

Minicom confirms the modem works, can dial and connect.

What else should I check?

It should "just work". If it doesn't please report via the Bug Tracker.
