Is there a way to change the acl with apple talk on the sme.

This would be useful for sharing iphoto libraries etc.

I don't think so.

I found that I can chown to 777 for that directory then you don't have to change the ACL for Mac os x.  I just wish that there was a more secure way of doing this. Any Ideas?

this doesn;t work because the second user an access only once. Then when the first user access the library again the permissions change again so that the second can't access/

Have switched to a mod_dav file system ie:  http://idisk.domain.com/iphoto

Both users seem to have complete access after many trials back and forth.  The problem is that the pictures only show when I am scrolling.  When I stop it goes to a blank thumbnail.  I double click on a thumbnail to enlarge and I get a larger blank image.

Any thoughts?
