Title: user ssh failure on local network
Post by: pauln on December 06, 2006, 09:25:46 PM
I have a new install of SME server 7.0.  A (non-admin) user can log in via ssh from the local network via ssh (remote access has been set to allow this), but gets booted out immediately:

Last login: Wed Dec  6 14:53:51 2006 from xxxx.com
Connection to 192.168.1.1 closed.

This previously worked in SME 6 - have I forgotten something...?

Thanks folks,
Paul N.

You need to enable that user to be allowed to SSH in to your box which you could do via db commands or for simple use download the remoteaccess rpm from Stephen @ Dungog...
