Title: Installing telnet-server on SME 7
Post by: jaybob20 on December 27, 2006, 09:33:28 PM
I know about the security issues, but how do I get the telnet-server installed/running on SME 7. I can't seem to find a package anywhere :(

Thanks!
Jason

If you really must, the package you want is telnet-server from the CentOS CD. But don't - use ssh.

Just download Putty and use it. Set remote access in server-manager and you're set.
