Moving this topic to the SME Server 7.x forum, it is more appropriate there. Thanks

Check this list to see if your UPS is compatible...

http://www.networkupstools.org/compat/stable.html

If so then you can use the built in NUT ups tools which is already on the SME Server and theres a wealth of info on these forums on how to configure.

This rpm is well out of date I would remove this as its not needed we use NUT which is already built in to the SME Server

Thanx for you help.
I removed the powstatd rpm. and used NUT to get the ups working. using the help from topic  http://forums.contribs.org/index.php?topic=33852.0.

And used my own UPS model. Now when i try to connect it says:  Error: Driver not connected
So i think the driver is not accepted.
have to find out witch driver i have toe use for my imv match 500 nowdays called by the name Victron.
