Is there a limit to how many Virtual Domains SME can support?

I am not aware of one. If there is, it's a bug, so please raise it in the bug tracker. The tables on the panels will start to get a bit awkward after 30 or so as they really need sort/selection/paging.

No, there is no bug.  It's just curiosity.
