Hi
I have a problem getting emails from some people:
The sender indicated that this is what they get on their screen:
CyborJaunt: The message could not be sent because one of the recipients was rejected by the server. The rejected e-mail address was 'send to icl@iclbiz'. Subject 'krystle song', Account: 'mail.hughes.net', Server: 'smtp.hughes.net', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '501 <send> Invalid mail address, must have a domain part', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 501, Error Number: 0x800CCC79
I've also send myself a test mail from my verizon account and can't get mail when sending mail from my work email to my SME email account
Wonder why ? It works most of the time and can send mail great, but receive has some holes in it for some reason
Thanks

Because the email address is not valid "icl@iclbix" wheres the .com or org seems human error here.

Hi thanks
I thought the same thing and the sender confirmed that it was sent to icl@iclbiz.com and attemped many times
and their sent to box also confirmed the send to address
Thanks for any info on this

It appears your trying to send email on 25 using SSL so your trying to use port 25 with SSL but SME wont allow that as It would act as a relay, check your logs for insight.

That's not correct. The message says "Secure (SSL): no" meaning "without SSL".
The message also says "Invalid mail address" and I'm sure that's what it means.

That's what I mean't to say but was thinking about something else at time of writing

So what is the solution for this, the sender is simply sending a standard email as they do with everyone else but they cannot send me any email due to this topic
What is the solution for them or me. They have not had this problem with sending mail to everyone else?
Also my email account at work will not send email to my SME accounts, no errors or anything they just don't get to the SME box for some reason which is another subject but could be related ?
Please advise

Hi
I found nothing in the log that really tells me anything
I've sifted through many of the logs but not all
is there a specific log section I should search through ?
This sender cannot sent me mail at this point.
