Title: SCSI help me

I want to know if somebody has installed SME any version in a SCSI server, how is it possible?

Yes, both on hardware and VMWare.
One 6.01 and 7.0... no problems at all.

Just be sure to do not use hardware RAID... lots of problems.
Search the forums for raid and will see.

If you have a problem with SCSI, please post your problem.
If you´re looking for info to buy a new server, search for HCL of CentOS (SME7.1 is Centos 4.4)

I have an IBM netfinity 5000 with scsi raid  And I want to install SME Server 7.0 .

I think what you want to do is install 7.1 and choose the option to install without software raid, so your hardware raid will work.  I haven't ever tested hardware raid, but I think that will work for you.

No, that's not correct. If hardware raid is configured, and the RAID adapter is supported, then SME7 or SME7.1 will "just work". It will use software RAID (on a single "drive") over the top of the hardware RAID, but that will be perfectly harmless.
