Title: ftp permissions
Post by: Craig McLean on February 21, 2002, 10:28:41 AM
I have created a user on my e-smith server.  I've also set it so that FTP user account access is set to Public, and FTP access limits is Normal Usage.

I'm using V5.0 update 3

My problem is that no matter where I log into ftp from, attempts to upload into the users directory give me a permission denied error.  I can't figure out how to allow ftp upload to the users directory.  Can anybody give any insight on this?

Craig,
I am having the same dilema.  Haven't figured it out yet, but I will keep you posted.  Let me know if you come up with anything.
