Title: Adding 2 harddrives to E-Smith
Post by: Adrian Brown on February 22, 2002, 12:06:16 AM
I want to add 2 extra hard drives (6gig each) to e-smith 5.0, but i dont want them to be used for mirroring. I want them to be used as 12gb extra storage. Ive read i can join them together and mount them as an ibay.

Is this true, and how do I do it?

please bare in mind im very new to linux in general, so it would be appreciated if you gave me the commands...:-)

Thanx for any help

Ade

All the drives in the system are IDE, with nothing special about them. I understand i must edit the fstab (or something similar!)

Thanx for any help
