Hi,
after running the following updates via yum, pptp no longer works.
fetchmail.i386 6.2.5-6.el4.5 updates
kernel.i686 2.6.9-42.0.8.EL updates
kernel-smp.i686 2.6.9-42.0.8.EL updates
I read here that if i chose a different kernal to on boot it could possibly fix the problem so i changed it from 42.0.8el to 42.0.3el and it seems to have fixed the problem. Does anyone know why this happened or when it is going to be fixed? It is kind of odd that the only machines that i got a update email from were two compaq evo's that i have on customers sites, and both servers broke when the updates were applied.
Any ideas would be helpfull.
Thanks

Sorry for the no-brainer but I think you should take this issue into the bugtracker so the development team gets aware of it as well and can see what went wrong and try to develop a fix.

No problem. I didn't have to search, I reported the bug so I knew exactly where it was.
