I maintain a couple of SME Server installations. On one of them I am getting the following email notification:
===
=== yum reports available updates:
===
samba.i386 3.0.10-1.4E.11 updates
samba-client.i386 3.0.10-1.4E.11 updates
samba-common.i386 3.0.10-1.4E.11 updates
But all of the others show no such message.
The installed samba-client shows as 3.0.10-1.4E.9 on all machines.
The machine that is getting the 'updates available' message is the system most recently installed (from a 7.1 CD and subsequently updated).
Any idea why I would get one machine showing different updates available from the others? Where should I be looking to find the answer?
Thanks.
John

Check the repositories you have enabled in the software installer panel
A clean install of 7.1 is different to earlier versions.

Thanks, Ray.
A 7.0 system that has been upgraded to 7.1 needs to have 'CentOS - os' and 'CentOS - updates' repositories enabled, in addition to the standard SME Server ones.
I had missed that when I upgraded those systems.
