Title: Sending mail problems.
Post by: persisto on February 19, 2007, 10:03:45 PM
I have an email problem,
At first I got a message:
Code: [Select]

An error occured sending mail: The mail server sent out an incorrect greeting: COnnection from you denied, bye bye..

when sending.
My provider communicates exclusiely in French, so I was convinced the problem from SME.  I searched the forum and found the following which I ran

signal-event email-update
signal-event post-upgrade
signal-event reboot

as suggested, and thought the problem was solved, as the message does no longer appear. However no mail goes out anymore.

I think the problem exists since I upgraded (YUM update) to 7.1 (It had been running fine since quite a while before.)

Help much appriciated.

Many thanks
