Title: Ibays
Post by: Damon on February 19, 2000, 10:14:40 AM
Whenever I create an Ibay that requires a password, i have to restartthe server before setting the password.  If I dont, it locks up both the webpage interface and the server setup screen.  Then I have to go into the files and remove access info from the ibay I created or the httpd server doesnt restart.  After fixing the files, it starts normally and then I can create the Ibay again the reboot the server then set the password.  Any ideas?

Hi Damon,

Which version of e-smith are you using? 3.0, 3.1 or one of the 4.0 betas?

Can you email the files to me at jdm@e-smith.net? I assume you're talking about the httpd.conf, srm.conf and access.conf files?

Would also be great if you could do:

grep ibay /home/e-smith/accounts > /tmp/foo

and then email me /tmp/foo. It sounds like a bug, but it may have been fixed in a later version of e-smith.

Thanks! Best regards,
- Joe
