Title: 550 Relaying denied (#5.7.1) [SOLVED]
Post by: TeNeCo on February 27, 2007, 09:56:05 AM
strange: I set up two different SMS servers. The one is working perfect. Then I put it in the corner and startet to setup another one. The new one ist able to send mails to the outer world and can receive mails from the external pop accounts but it can't receive mails directly. The sender gets the following report:

A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:

  stefan@teneco.homeftp.net
SMTP error from remote mailer after RCPT TO:<stefan@teneco.homeftp.net>:
    host teneco.homeftp.net [88.73.93.38]: 550 Relaying denied (#5.7.1)

I can not even sent a mail from one of it's account to another one (same failure).

The configuration seams to be simple: there is only that single domain defined:
teneco.homeftp.de   Primary domain   Primary   Lokale DNS-Auflösung

Any ideas?

oohh - what a shame! Human failure in it's best. The solution is in the posting itself:
Quote from: "TeNeCo"

TO:<stefan@teneco.homeftp.net>:

Prmary domain: teneco.homeftp.de
