Title: net access question
Post by: seabro on February 28, 2007, 03:05:24 PM
hi

I am using SME and the proxy server to log all net access.

if users 'untick' use proxy, they go on the net directly without using proxy.

I want to stop this being possible.  one way would be to stop a default gateway being given out by the dhcp server - is there a better way?

thanks

Block internet access through port 80.

On the end of the following howto you can find something about blocking ports to force users to surf through the proxy port:

They won't be able to if you use the server in server-gateway mode.
