I'm looking to hire the consulting services of a few SME 7.x specialists on and off for the next year or so -- is there a job posting board where I should post?  or should I just leave it here?

There is no special board for this, so there should be no problem here, but
you should have noted, where you sit.

Germany, Europe, Australia, Timbuktu?

www.eicsoftware.com is not online, so I have no clue.

The work will all be remote -- we are based in Michigan & Florda, both are eastern time zone.

I just switched the web server over from 6.01 to 7.1 -- I was running a mambo page for the web site and now I set up Joomla -- anybody know if I can just sql export from mambo and import it into joomla?

I haven't tried that but those two systems are almost the same, templates work on either. Might try the joomla.org forum for a definite answer.
