Title: software installer
Post by: skydivers on March 03, 2007, 11:50:37 AM
Hi there,

I've searched on the forum on "everything" that has to do with upgrading with the software installer (also the dev manual).

On several places on the forum I can find you have to enable (which is at standard) smeos, smeaddons, smeupdates. Others say you also need to enable base and updates (CENTOS).

In a couple of new topics I can find some difficulties with kernels due update (.10 vs .8 ). In a topic of william_syd i read he didn't install at first the updates from base.

Now my question is, what repo's should I enable to make an upgrade to 7.1.1?

Thanx

Well...  smeos, smeaddons, smeupdates and CentOS, and CentOS-updates.
Also enable dungog if you added their repository and if you have some of their contribs.

If you don't have their contribs then only sme and centOS.
