Title: question on upgrade to 7.1 from 6.0.1

We have been running 2 SME Server 6.0.1 for quit a while now, and have had no problems at all. To upgrade to 7.1 all we do is install to CD to upgrade from the older version. So does it keep all you setting ie:users, ia bays everything??? Is there anything we should know before we do this, or is it very streamline, we should expect no problems. We have done a backup.

All your settings, ibays, etc. should remain the same and you shouldn't have any problems but it also depends on how many different contribs your sistem runs and if they're supported on sme 7.

You should do a backup and then upgrade so that you can restore your data in case something goes wrong.
