Title: help plz.. Problem with SME as DNS server

Hi to all, I'm running SME 7.1.2 as DNS server with IPcop as gateway/firewall server. My problem is that SME causing heavy traffic on external network sometimes thus the internet is very very slow. I could not determine why SME is causing heavy traffic, only the IPcopy is connected on it. I have ISP's DNS but its not updated, some of the sites are actually not accessible.

Can anyone please explain to me why this happen? or is there a setting that I could setup so I can control the traffic from SME?

iptraf on the console may shed some light onto the issue.
