Hi
Ok, I have installed fetchmail (vincent) but for some reason it is not picking up mail from the mail server.
I have set up my mailboxes and so on and it is enabled but nothing happens and no emails come through.
When i run /etc/startmail or /etc/fetchmail all i get in /var/log/messages is
Mar 26 11:44:24 srv01 sshd(pam_unix)[15011]: session opened for user root by root(uid=0)
Mar 26 11:44:53 srv01 slapd[3881]: conn=7 fd=7 ACCEPT from IP=127.0.0.1:43883 (IP=0.0.0.0:389)
Mar 26 11:44:53 srv01 slapd[3881]: conn=7 op=0 BIND dn="" method=128
Mar 26 11:44:53 srv01 slapd[3881]: conn=7 op=0 RESULT tag=97 err=0 text=
Mar 26 11:44:53 srv01 slapd[3881]: conn=7 op=1 UNBIND
Mar 26 11:44:53 srv01 slapd[3881]: conn=7 fd=7 closed
Mar 26 11:45:01 srv01 su(pam_unix)[15121]: session opened for user qmailr by (uid=0)
Mar 26 11:45:16 srv01 su(pam_unix)[15121]: session closed for user qmailr
Any ideas?

not sure what vincent is, but the standard install on SME 7 has fetchmail built in. I use it to retrieve mail and scan for spam for a customer.
However, I think the version in SME collects email from only one mail server. At least the server-manager has a place to enter only one...

Where would I find this in SME? I am using SME 7.1.3 and do not remember seeing an area for Fetchmail, and I've gone through all of the settings.

This is definitely an RTFM problem.
May I refer you to http://wiki.contribs.org/SME_Server:Documentation:Administration_Manual:Chapter13#E-mail_Retrieval where you will find the answer.
Hint... look for the ETRN settings or Multidrop if your email account serves more than a single user.
You can cofigure it to collect email from a single POP3 address at intervals from 5 mins upward. Personally, I would prefer it to collect from multiple POP3 addresses.
Good luck.

Aww crap. I was thinking of GOTmail. I'll just run away now. :)
