Title: news@ Pseudonym
Post by: cvl on March 28, 2007, 08:36:10 PM
Hi

I have searched the forum and there were other guys with the same problem but they didnt get a fix.

Right, I need a news@ account/Pseudonym the system will not let me create it because its a system account. Is there any way around this? We have tons of clients that send to this account and I really, REALLY need to be able to use it.

Thanks in advance!

Fixes come via package updates after problems are reported via the Bug Tracker.

Well, I dont think that it is an actual bug so reporting it in the bug tracker wouldnt help me. I'm actually looking for a solution to my problem more than a "fix".

Than this would be a NFR (new feature request) which is processed in.... well what do you know... the bugtracker or http://bugs.contribs.org/

You can create a pseudonym for "news@mydomain.com", but not for "news" with no domain...

Here's a link to JonB's post on this from July: http://forums.contribs.org/index.php?topic=32869.0

Thanks so much, I'll give it a go. If it does you are the man!
