Title: Setting a Global Quota
Post by: jfarschman on April 04, 2007, 10:47:53 PM
Hi,

I'd like to setup a global quota so that all new users have the same quota when they are created.

This would seem like a common question, but I searched "global quota", "universal quota" and "everyone quota" without any luck.

My brain just lit up after writing this post...  One could use lat-quota to set the quota after the fact and save a good bit of time.  That would work for a lazy admin, but what about a lazy, stupid admin?

 lat-quota -c "user | softlimit | hardlimit"

Any ideas?

I'd really like to see all quotas set at the time of the user add process.
