Title: Good COM, Bad COM
Post by: gbentley on April 09, 2007, 08:21:04 AM
Hi All,

I recently hooked up an APC 1000 Smart UPS to a SME 7.1.3

The server box didnt have a serial port (well, the motherboard did but they dont provide an outlet plate anymore: ASUS MoBo) so I used a USB lead as the APC has both USB & Serial.

On a fairly regular basis I get emails with the above two subject lines often with exatcly the same time stamp (well, I havent checked the seconds field so within the same minute)

Has anyone eles experienced this or can anyone suggest possible cause?

Is the UPS failing? Should I go back to serial?
