Title: How best to load custom kernel modules?
Post by: levien on April 14, 2007, 11:40:41 AM
What would be the best way to load kernel modules and do other custom boot-time stuff in SME 7.x? In the past (SME 5.6) I manually added things to /etc/rc.d/rc.local. Is that wise or should I put things into a template fragment (and if so, which one)?

I basically need to start a small script for a non-standard DSL login, and load a kernel module that is not loaded automagically.

Thanks!
