Title: Internal Server Error
Post by: hammertime1983 on April 24, 2007, 01:13:11 AM
Hello,

When ever I try to log into Server Manager on SME I receive an error message saying...

"Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, admin and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log."

Does any know where I can check the log?  Or have any ideas on resolving this issue?

Thanks,

My guess is that you either updated your Anti-Virus or had it set to auto update the Virus Engine

If that is the case do the following

Log in via putty as root

chmod 1777 /tmp

That should solve your problem

Reboot if it was the virus update
