Title: Qmail Question

If a user sends mail to "@", where does the mail get delivered to?

Looking at the qmail logs, qmail delivers the mail to "@domain.com.au".
For eg.
"starting delivery 12362: msg 3117239 to local
alias-localdelivery@xxxxx.com.au

No error message is bounced to the user.

Is this a bug or is this normal?
