Title: MAILLOG rejecting
Post by: nicholasaa on May 08, 2007, 09:30:10 PM: There are serveral errors on my SME server right now. I think they are all linked. The MailLog is rejecting all hte mail sent to the mail log but it is getting to the people it is sent to. For Example . I send mail to Joe. Joe Gets the e-mail but i get a reject email like below.

Hi. This is the qmail-send program at altrogco.com.
I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses.
This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.

Also when i try to add pseudonyms though the Http console it says there was an error added the pseudonym, but it appears on the list. If i try to use that pseudinym then it get a reject for that and the maillog. I also can'y add users any more. I get the same Failure/error when adding user. Once again it appears in the list but doesn't work when tested.

So If any one can help with my dieing server it would be nice. This is my first time useing Linux and i feel verey lost and confused.

OK this does show you have the BCC plugin enabled. TO check you would type at command line...

config show qpsmtpd

Does your To: email address receive the email ? to me all it looks like is that your maillog email address has changed for some reason.

Post by: nicholasaa on May 08, 2007, 10:54:32 PM: No the maillog name has not changed. I have submitted the other issues to the bug reporter. Is there a chance you might know somethings about what i can do to add users and Pseudonyms manualy or another way ?
