Title: Hylafax & USB Modem
Post by: Gert on May 09, 2007, 03:09:55 AM
Does anyone know how to configure hylafax to work with a usb modem?

I think you need to use /dev/usb/acm/0 or /dev/usb/ttyACM0 instead of ttyS0

See http://www.faqs.org/docs/Linux-HOWTO/Modem-HOWTO.html#ss2.9

I don't think you will get hylafax to work with a USB modem. Your best chance is a serial external modem or look at http://www.hylafax.org/content/Hardware_Compatibility_List
