Title: Support for non-Pentium installations?
Post by: Eliyahu Skoczylas on September 01, 1999, 12:18:01 PM
For various reasons, one of our clients wishes us to configure a packet filter / proxy server now, and then expand to a full firewalling configuration with separate bastion server and DMZ network later.  e-smith seems ideal, since it would save me installation and configuration hassles, and I could use the reseller partnership for tier 2 support.  The rub is that we would be running this on PCI-based Alpha hardware (from DGC, on which RedHat Linux 5.2 for Alpha was already installed.)  Would you be willing to support non-Pentium installations, either under a direct support contract, or via a reseller relationship?

ELIYAHU: This is a perfect application for our development partnership program - it entitles you to 10 hours of developmental and architectural support on a project founded on the e-smith server and gateway software.   I'll email you separately to discuss.  Thanks for the post! Kim
