Title: A lot of "per host of concurreny limit reached"
Post by: Simonvetterli on May 14, 2007, 11:40:29 AM
I have installed a new SME Server, using the latest Version.

The clients are all Mac and use Entourage 11.2.5 for Mac. But now I have a lot of per host of concurreny limit reached - Could not retrieve mail, Account-Name...

What can I do? What else can I test?

Kind Regards.

I assume you are talking about POP3.
POP3 concurrency per ip limit is not templated and therefore not configurable. Use IMAP protocol instead. Its limit is 3 times higher by default (12) and configurable.

Do a search for concurrencylocal and "remote.

You will find other people had the same issue

As far as I can remember SME6 has no such limit. You should raise a bug in the bugtracker to get this fixed.
