Title: FSTAB corrution
Post by: nicholasaa on May 23, 2007, 08:07:40 AM
I have a remote SME server that i get to useing SSH. Recently i edited the FSTAB and had it reboot. only it never came up again.

the editing I did was to move a mount to a new location it was

\\192.168.1.xxx\f$
i changed ti to the new ip address
\\192.168.1.yyy\f$

i have done this in the past with out issues so i was wonder if i corruped the FSTAB and what i could do to fix it. is there a default fstab that i could copy into place ? Should i just pull it off the install cd?

You could try the rescue mode from your sme cd. And have a look what you can do from there on.
