to the community,
for the ease of installation a rpm package of GroupOffice for the SME Server 7.x is available at http://wiki.contribs.org/GroupOffice.
This package installs the collaboration suite GroupOffice into /opt.
You can start it with your browser with the URL http://MYSERVER/groupoffice.

I would update it, 2.16.13 has many improvements.

You're right. I have made a new version based on 2.17.3.
