Title: List of connected computers

Hello all,

Is there any way I can list all the computers the DHCP assigned, lease dates, things like that?

Or if there is a way I can see all computer names on the network?

I have a perl script that will do this.  It also provides a nice web interface.  If you are interested let me know.

Also with sme7admin you can list the dhcp releases.

When you have only windows machines NBTscan can be very usefull. Only trouble is that from XP is that the "messenger service" needs to be activated in the windows box.

It depends on the needs/reasons ofcourse. These were my 2 cents.
