Title: Some strange behaviour (PPPoE log and dyndns)
Post by: Reaper82 on May 30, 2007, 01:50:23 AM
Have had some odd problems,  seems my PPPoE  logging halted 7th March and dyndns.org stopped auto updating on the 27th of May (causing email delays incoming and outgoing). PPPoE logging halted on the 8th of march for my work server as well (which is when that server was updated).  Is it a known issue?

Has anyone else experienced this?  before running the yum updates everything was working fine.   Only addons I'm using are QOS and squid cache manager.  Otherwise standard install.

edit : dyndns client seems to be working after reconfiguring the server twice,  but would like to have logging working for PPPoE I use it to track sessions.

Anything which doesn't work correctly should be reported via the Bug Tracker.

Will do just wasn't sure whether it was known and easily fixed.

edit : I have found the problem,  the logging for PPPoE was changed to WAN.  Not sure why they did this,  it seems quite pointless.  Now to figure out if they changed any others.
