Title: Enabling full email address as username for mail logon

Hi All,

This is my "Virgin" post, and i think that sme server is a superb product and has an awesome active community !!

I have a small issue that i have just lived with for a while, but now seek a solution. I have done quite a bit of searching the net and these forums without much luck :(

Is there anyway to make the mail usernames the whole email address ??

I don't quite understand your question but i think that you would like to make a username (eg: jdoe) that would point to john.doe@domain.com instead of jdoe@domain.com.

You can do this by:
1. Adding a pseudonym in Pseudonyms pannel
2. By using a full login name (eg. john.doe)

The ability to create a username based on e-mail address is not supported.
