Title: Redirecting /~username to and ibay?

I am moving my server at home from a competitor's distro to SME-5.1.2 and I have two user webspaces that need to stay up. I know that user webspaces are not natively supported under SME-5.1.2, so I figure I will have to create ibays to replace these. No real problem there.

My question, though, is one of redirection: How do I get http://mymachine.mydomain.com/~myuser/ to redirect to http://mymachine.mydomain.com/myuser/ ? There's only a couple of them, so hacking a conf file is acceptable. Or is there a blade out there to do this?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Have a try with URL rewriting: http://httpd.apache.org/docs/misc/rewriteguide.html
