Post by: Robert on March 14, 2002, 05:01:53 AM
I am trying to put a cgi bulletin board on my server but whenever i go to the script location it alwasy says that the server has encountered an eroor, i have logged in to the server and changed the permissions on the cgi script and it is still not working. The scripts are in the cgi-bin folder of and ibay i have created and execution of scripts has bin enabled because a php script that is in there works but the cgi doesnt? I am running SME Server 5.0 with all the updates on.

Any suggestions would be very gratefull.

Cheers Rob

Could you be a little more specific: what are the error messages? are you using the correct path to the cgi-files? what permissions did you set them to? etc....

This would help solving the problem.

I am getting an error that says the server has encounted an internal error and could not process the script, And i have set the permissions to 755.
