Title: Managing Users Folders
Post by: Drufazz on June 19, 2007, 01:23:27 PM
Is there any way I can manage the users folders via a networked pc ? What I want to be able to do is to be able to see what files are in each users folder and be able to backup all the users folders.

I'm not an expert in networking or sme server, though I have it up and running with 9 pcs connected running xp home. I created accounts for the users and then just use a batch file with "net use" to log them onto the server with their username/pass which gives them access to their home folder and an ibay i setup.

But I can't see anyway that i can login and be able to see all the users folders and manipulate them. Tried logging in with admin and root password but i don't see anything more than logging in as a normal user.

Any help appreciated.

Cheers,
