Title: How to upgrade PHP from 4.3.9 to 4.3.10
Post by: Stiven on July 05, 2007, 12:29:02 PM
Hi everybody,

I need to upgrade PHP from 4.3.9 to 4.3.10 in aim to run a CMS that requires this version.

Does a how-to exist or anything else (maybe some rpms...) ?

Thanks in advance for your replies.

That's off-topic for this forum, which concerns only software included in the base SME server distribution.

Thank you so much for your quite huge help. I just thought that PHP 4.3.9 was included in.

I probably must be wrong.

Note for later : please notice the right place where to post. Thanks.

php 4.3.09 is included in the base release, but upgrades to 4.3.10 are not supported as that would make the sytem no longer standard, and create potential problems for future base upgrades.

You upgrade using contribs or unsupported package releases at your own immediate risk, and also at your own risk re future base upgrades & compatibilities with other installed packages.
