Title: NVidia MCP55 Chipset in use by anyone?
Post by: irian on July 09, 2007, 04:59:44 PM
Hello,

A new server needs to be installed and we want to make use of SATA RAID5. It looks like it will be supported by the ASUS M2N-LR Motherboard that comes with the NVidia MCP55 Chipset.
I did some googling on it but couldn't really find a satisfying answer.

Does anyone have SME running with this chipset?
Any comment is appreciated.

IMVHO: use soft raid OR use a fully supported controller (3ware for example)
