Hi
I downloaded smeserver 7.1 from your website. I downloaded the semserver 7.1 iso file. I then used nero burner and chose the make a bootable cd option and copied the iso file to the disk.
I am using a machine that was running red hat 9.0.
When I insert the disk it boots the machine but the installation will not start. It says can't find ntfs drive and exits the setup.
Am I doing everything right.
Thanks

you have simply to burn the iso, you haven't to burn the iso file into a cd..
are you sure you have burned the iso correctly?
if you insert your cd in a windows pc, what do you see?

I missed this sentence.
You have to burn from iso (or image in nero).

Open Nero
cancel wizard & get to normal menu structure
select File
select Burn Image
select smeserver.iso

I burned the iso image, but when I run the installation I get the following error message:
could not find Kernel image: Linus
boot :
Any help
Thanks

Couple of things to try...
Have you checked the iso with md5sum ?
Maybe try another CDROM Drive ?

It is the first time I am trying sme, so I am pretty new at this. How does one check the iso with md5sum?
Thanks
