Its monsoon in mumbai, lightning struck my area and blew away the on board lan card of my sme server, I have replaced it with a new motherboard and had to re-install sme server from the cd ver 7.1. Now my VPN is not working again kernel version is .03. I want to update to kernel .55 as my previous server was running .55 with VPN perfectly what "yum" command do issue at the root to completely update all kenenal and kmode files. Please help. Earlier I has issued such a command to update my previous server but i misplaced the text file which had noted that command. Hence please help again.

When you installed 7.1 you would have needed to update the first to rpms first as per the FAQ guide, this is what you would need to do...
yum update smeserver-yum smeserver-support
Once thats installed, issue...
signal-event post-upgrade ; signal-event reboot
Now your ready to upgrade with kernel .10

You don't want the .55 kernel as this is a Centos update, SME Server is currently on .10 and using the steps above will update your kernel to the correct .10 version.

i issued the commands you gave. two files were downloaded 155k total then i issued the second command the server rebooted, I then entered server manger, software installer and clicked on updates but it does not update, can you give me a command line to start all the updates.
