Title: SME 7.1.3 keeps "saying" there are updates
Post by: jmatos on July 23, 2007, 12:17:23 PM
Hello,

I've received an e-mail warning me that there are updates.
I went to server-manager and selected to install them.
Everything went smoothly and the server restarted.
Then I went again to server-manager and to my amazament the system keeps telling me that there are updates (the same ones).

Any ideias?

Thx.

JM

Hi JM,

Have you cleaned yum cache
In console type :

yum clean all
yum update

this will force yum to refresh the cache and restart update process

Worth a try

Hello,

Done that, and it seems to have worked, because the Software installer GUI doesn't show any more updates pending.

Thx.
