Seems like my mistake, when I updated my server I saw that some package is still intact. Hope to have a new system up and running soon. Forgot to erase some package.

Hi, for a while I struggled with asterisk since it didn't want to transfer any calls. The call where made but no sound. So I figured that it would be nice with a clean install of both asterisk and selintra-sail. I ran the rpm -e command on all package of asterisk (which I got from selintra) and the manager Selintra-sail. The erase was done without any problem. But I have recognized something from Selintra-sail still is active in my server. For example, when I run a yum update or anything with yum. Everywhere in the log there's stuffs which comes from selintra-sail.
How shall I proceed? I want to make a new install of selintra-sail and asterisk but before that I think it's good to clean it out of the system. So I can start with newly and fresh rpm:s.
Thanks for all help that u can offer.
best regards,
Mattias

Hi Mattias
Erasing the rpms will leave behind /home/e-smith/db/selintra and selintra-work. you can remove the files manually.
It will leave the extra directory in the path /lib/modules/{kernel}/. You can remove the directory manually.
It will also leave the cdr database in mysql. Use Drop to delete it.
Finally, it may leave some records in the SME configuration file which you should be able to remove with a console-save.

Thanx for the help. Would be nice to again try to get asterisk with selintra to work. Think that some of the problems I got maybe is because I use a VIA board. It worked for a while but for some reason it died.

Which VIA board?
We use a lot of Nehemiah 1Gb boards without any problems. We have had one running in the field for almost two years without a restart.
