Title: What ports are now required to have opened for remote email?

I have just installed SME 7.2 and reviewing the Email settings
menu section, I see that it now have POP3S and SSMTP options for
remote email access. Does it mean that these options are now
mandatory? Will I need to open other ports additional to
80,25,110 and 443?
