Title: Hang up after first reboot

Installation of SME V5.1.2 completes normally. After first boot, I get a hang after "configuring kernel parameters". Tried many re-installs but no difference. Any suggestions?
(I had the same problem with a Mandrake SNF)

I am having the same problem with v5.5.  Any help?
